The apartment of Del Borgo Camelia lies in a quiet location in Poggy, which can be reached via Imperia (Porto Maurizio) within few minutes by car. Porto Maurizio offers well-kept beaches and many different kinds of restaurants offering enticing Ligurian specialities. The access road to the house passes through an electric gate, which is the only entrance to the enclosed estate, and there is a private car park. You enter through the external area, which belongs to the apartment, into the open living area. In here you find a modern kitchen with a dining area and a comfortable sofa bed.
Furthermore there are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double bed, as well as a bathroom with a washing machine and a shower. You can enjoy a great barbecue with the whole family on the terrace, from where you have a beautiful view over the Prino valley. You can also buy buns, fruit, vegetables and other specialities in the small alimentari.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.

The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.

Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

Positives: In der Hausbeschreibung könnte man noch deutlicher hervorheben, dass man sich bzgl. des Autostellplatzes keine Sorgen machen muss, da der Stellplatz sich in einer geschlossenen Anlage direkt am Objekt befindet (was in der Gegend Luxus ist). Sehr ruhige Lage.

Empfehlenswerter Strand: Bussana: freier Strand mit hauptsächlich Sand - weitläufig, mit Volleyballfeld und Kinderspielplatz und vielen kleinen Restarants - auch Liege/ Schirm kann man Mieten, aber kein Muss! Ausflüge: Nizza, Monaco, San Remo (auch tolle Radtour möglich - Radweg geht ab San Lorenzo durch!)

Die Bettenbreite imm Kinderzimmer mit 80cm ist für Jugendliche sehr schmal. Da die Ferienwohnung sehr weit weg vom Strand ist, wäre die Anlage mit einem Pool perfekt. Da kein Pool vorhanden ist, wäre der vorhandene Wasseranschluss mit einer Duschgestänge zu vervollständigen.
