The small suburban town of Caramagna lies not far from the lively coastal town of Imperia and can be reached from there in a few minutes by car. The Casa Visamoris, which is furnished in a fine modern style, lies in the centre of a fascinating wine mountain. The holiday apartment provides accommodation for up to six people and comprises one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, a conveniently furnished kitchen cum living area with a sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower. You can relax together on the terrace in the evenings with a delicious glass of wine from the house wine cellar and take in the spectacular view over the mountain. Even the enticing beaches in the coastal towns are easily accessible for the sun-lovers.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.

The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.

Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

The wineyard Vis Amoris is the realized dream of Rosanna and Roberto. The couple left the city to work as winefarmers since a few years now in Caramagna - Imperia. They started with 6 square meters, today they have 3,5 h. They are producing mainly the Pigato wine.

hundestrand in sanremo, von imperia kommend erste ampel links (carabinebri) hinweis für andere italien-besucher. die geschäfte und restaurant schließen mittags/nachmittags. hätten wir den hinweis vorher erhalten, hätten wir unsere zeit anders eingeplant.

Der Grill könnte bei Gelegenheit mal ausgetausch werden. Ansonsten sehr schön. Wie gesagt - Rosana, die Vermieterin, ist sehr nett und hat uns eine tolle Führung durch ihre Weinberge und ihren Weinkeller gegeben, inklusive Vergustierung ihres Weins und anderer Köstlichkeiten (Oliven und Olivenprodukte).

Ausstattung war sehr gut. Hinweis auf vorhandene Waschmaschine in der Beschreibung wäre sinnvoll. Die empfohlene Osteria in Dolcedo existiert nicht mehr, dort ist nun eine Pizzeria. Osteria dell'anima golosa in Dolcedo, Via Cinacergo 5, ist sehr gut, schöne Terasse, toller Service, gehobenes Preisniveau.

Spülmaschine würde den Aufenthalt versüssen. Wirklich gute Betreuung von Deutschland aus, keine Bedenken, wieder was über Sie zu mieten.

Fahrradweg nach Imperia auf dem Feldweg am Fluss, Santa Brigida als Ausgangspunkt für kleine Wanderungen, Radweg nach Sanremo auf der alten Bahnstrecke ohne Autoverkehr (Leider sind die ersten Kilometer dorthin auf der Hauptstraße), Olivenölmuseum. Nachdem Kontakt zum Vermieter hergestellt war, ließ sich vieles sehr nett lösen

Laigueglia bei Alassio hat viele schöne Strände. Avon sogar einen (Capo Mele) and den man mit Hund darf. Genua wurde schon empfohlen, aber die Altstadt ist wirklich einen ausgedehnten Fussmarsch wert. Für Kinder, ist der Galeonennachbau im Hafen toll (aus Roman Polanski Film) Wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder
