Opis
The Agriturismo La Nonna is located in the small mountain village of Siglioli, above Vessalico. The apartment has ample room for up to six people; it comprises a cosy living room with dining area and sofa bed, a double bedroom with four-poster bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a practical, well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. The large terrace is ideal for relaxing and planning your next walk, perhaps to the breathtaking waterfalls of Mendatica.

This is an agricultural town in the upper Arroscia Valley. The old town centre is characterised by a large number of aedicula, capitals, portals and inscriptions dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth century situated along the narrow alleys and vaulted passageways. Its name comes from the Latin word "vexalium", meaning "submissive". In 1232, the inhabitants, who were dedicated to olive cultivation, moved to the left bank of the River Arroscia and joined with other towns to form Pieve di Teco in a strategic position along the mule track that controlled the traffic from the Riviera to Piedmont. In the next century, it was conceded by the Clavesana family to the Republic of Genoa and remained under its dominion for centuries.
Just above the town, among the cultivated olive terraces, you can see the ruins of the beautiful Romanesque church of Sant'Andrea, the oldest in the valley (second century). In the Baroque church of Santa Maria Maddalena (fourteenth century) some frescoes have been discovered that were hidden by whitewash during one of the last epidemics. The original iron bars used for bolting the door of the building have also been preserved. The central-plan eighteenth-century oratory of the Visitazione is also known as the oratory of the Madonna del Ponte, since it is situated where the road passes over the river and enters the town.
Olive and vine cultivation (this is Pigato and Ormeasco wine territory), as well as garlic-growing, are the main activities of the inhabitants of Vessalico, who celebrate delicious-tasting garlic in a centuries-old festival that was initiated by public decree in 1790.

Die Küchenausstattung (Besteck, Kochuntensilien )könnte noch etwas optimiert werden ansonsten alles bestens Gut so - ich würde es so lassen Verso - sehr schöne Altstadt; Sanremo am Markttag; Imperia am Markttag; etwas weiter weg: Seealpennaturpark bei Chusio de Pesio; Monaco und Nizza Wir waren sehr zufrieden....

Alles prima, nur eben mit der Verständigung sehr schwierig. Wir wussten nicht, ob ein Teil zur anderen Wohnung gehört, oder nicht. Der Urlaub war sehr schön, aber die Wohnung zu einsam. Nächstes Mal würden wir so eine Wohnung nur mit Swimming Pool und näher an einer Stadt oder größeren Ortschaft mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten buchen. (Wenigstens ein Restaurant in der Nähe).

Alassio feiner Sandstrand Nähe Altstrand. Es war ein sehr guter Mix zwischen den schönen ligurischen Seealpen und der Küste !

Es hat eine Pfanne zum Kochen gefehlt, ansonsten war alles da. War alles Ok so. Restaurant "Da Maria" direkt in Vesallico. Wir waren rund um zufrieden und fanden den Service wirklich gut.

hat alles was man braucht auf jeden fall mal nach monaco gehen. kurze reise wert. gute verbindung. anreise von imperia immer richtung torino dann gehts mal rechts weg nach albenga und sehr bald gehts weg links nach vessallico. dann erste links ca 5 kilometer nen berg hoch. bin und war sehr zufrieden. gerne wieder irgendwann.

alles da was man braucht. Bei uns war es zu kalt um am Abend draußen zu sitzen. Ansonsten wäre eine nette Sitzgruppe im Garten noch ganz schön. Wir waren extrem begeistert, von dem Haus, der Vermieterin, die wirklich sehr bemüht war, und von der Landschaft. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
