The Agriturismo Antico Granaio is situated in Siglioli, a small mountain village above Vessalico. The apartment can accommodate up to four people. It comprises one double bedroom, a practical and well-equipped kitchen with a sofa-bed, and a bathroom with shower. From the terrace you can enjoy the tranquillity and pure invigorating air of the Arroscia valley.

This is an agricultural town in the upper Arroscia Valley. The old town centre is characterised by a large number of aedicula, capitals, portals and inscriptions dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth century situated along the narrow alleys and vaulted passageways. Its name comes from the Latin word "vexalium", meaning "submissive". In 1232, the inhabitants, who were dedicated to olive cultivation, moved to the left bank of the River Arroscia and joined with other towns to form Pieve di Teco in a strategic position along the mule track that controlled the traffic from the Riviera to Piedmont. In the next century, it was conceded by the Clavesana family to the Republic of Genoa and remained under its dominion for centuries.
Just above the town, among the cultivated olive terraces, you can see the ruins of the beautiful Romanesque church of Sant'Andrea, the oldest in the valley (second century). In the Baroque church of Santa Maria Maddalena (fourteenth century) some frescoes have been discovered that were hidden by whitewash during one of the last epidemics. The original iron bars used for bolting the door of the building have also been preserved. The central-plan eighteenth-century oratory of the Visitazione is also known as the oratory of the Madonna del Ponte, since it is situated where the road passes over the river and enters the town.
Olive and vine cultivation (this is Pigato and Ormeasco wine territory), as well as garlic-growing, are the main activities of the inhabitants of Vessalico, who celebrate delicious-tasting garlic in a centuries-old festival that was initiated by public decree in 1790.

Schäl- und Schneidmesser und Küchenreibe wären gut. Evtl. Kaffeemaschine? Diese Terrasse ist ein Traum und nicht verbesserungswürdig! Als Städte empfehlen wir Albenga, Allassio, Laigueglia Cervo, Zuccarello (ab dort auch eine 3 Std. Wanderung über Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena). Einkaufen würden wir in Pieve di Teco.

Wir hatten unsere eigene Hängematte dabei und haben uns ein nettes Plätzchen gemacht- waren eigentlich rundum zufrieden Das was wirklich ein absolutes Erlebnis war - war der Ausflug mit dem Boot den ganzen Tag- so ein Tag auf dem Meer- dieses Blau sieht man erst ein paar Kilometer weit draußen in dieser Intensität- wahnsinn wir werden der Abwechslung halber, wenn wir wieder kommen, nicht an den gleichen Ort fahren- aber das wollten wir unbedingt sagen, nicht weil es uns nicht gefallen hat, sondern weil wir auch noch andere Orte an der Blumenriviera ausprobieren wollen. Würden aber jederzeit wieder über Sie buchen

Unser Feriendomizil war sehr abgelegen. Es wäre sicher hilfreich, wenn sie die Entfernung (Km-Angabe) zur nächst größeren Einkaufsmöglichkeit angeben würden. Man kann sich als Urlauber besser darauf im Vorfeld einstellen und weiß, dass es z. B. keine Frühstücksbrötchen gibt!
