Set in the picturesque town of Colla, a district of Diano San Pietro,the Manor La Colla is the ideal starting point for tours of the lesser known parts of the Ligurian countryside, with its olive farms and invigorating Alpine foothills. For those who prefer the beach, it is just ten minutes away from the town of Diano Marina. The newly renovated house, entered through the garden, is traditional in style with an elegant inner decor. The apartment itself, partly rustic and partly modern, has two bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom, and a well-appointed living-room with a satellite TV. The generous sized terrace features an equally generous five-seater table, ideal for a convivial evening meal of local food and wine. From Colla you can reach the centre of Diano San Pietro in just five minutes, where you will find ample shops, a pharmacy, a post office and a restaurant, I Carruggi, whose staff will be delighted to lavish upon you some of the delicious local specialities.

This municipality is formed of two towns on the sunny slopes of the San Pietro Valley. Dominating the lower town is the parish church, one of the most important in the area (the christening font dates from the eleventh century). All that is left of the original late mediaeval building is the bell tower. It is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and was reconstructed in Baroque style in the second half of the eighteenth century. The parvis is paved with pebbles and it was surrounded by a wall in 1564 as a defence against Saracen invasions. The interior preserves a painting of the martyrdom of San Giovanni Battista attributed to Giovanni Battista Paggi and a fine seventeenth-century marble pulpit.
Along the road to Diano San Pietro there are two buildings that were once used for control and defence of the valley: the square "Camandone" barracks building and the "Molino Arduino", a fortified mill.







Just outside the town, when you have crossed the bridge over the Rio San Pietro, you will come to the district of Colla, where you can admire the recently-restored sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. In the church of the Nativitŕ di Maria in Borganzo, you can see a fine poliptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). There is a very old humpback bridge over the San Pietro at Roncagli. At one time, the valley was full of mills producing Taggia olive oil. Besides olive-oil production, the local economy is based on the cultivation of vegetables, fruit and basil, which is the main ingredient of the typical local liqueur. Among the many local summer festivals, the most famous is the one dedicated to a pasta dish called "trenette al pesto", which is accompanied by a classic Ligurian wine called Pigato.

Sauberes Geschirr vorher seitens des Vermieters überprüfen. Staubfänger aussortieren. Kacheln am Boden, die locker waren wieder befestigen. NEUE MATRATZEN!!!! Wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen! Wohnatmosphäre und Einrichtung war aber sehr schön!!!! War alles in Ordnung. Sie könnte vielleicht in Ihren Informationen schreiben, dass z.

Ist vorbildlich ausgestattet und bedarf keinen Ergänzungen. Auch das Trampolin im Garten war für die Kinder spitze!! Viele Tipps sind ja bereits auf euren pdf's aufgeführt. Cervo müsste man sicher gesehen haben und der Markt in Diano Marino ist auch Pflicht. Die Namen der vielen tollen Restaurants in Diano Marino habe ich leider schon wieder vergessen :-). Echt eine tolle Dienstleistung welche ihr da bietet!! Weiter so!!

The condition of the garden and garden furniture was below our expectation. Vegetation overcrowded the garden en terrace. Furniture was allready for a long time not usable. Pepe beach in Imperia. Very kind people, service and kitchen. The place to be!

Mehr Steckdosen in der Küche, die Kaffeemaschine hatte keinen Anschluss. Super (aber wahrscheinlich nicht machbar) wäre es, die Heizung selber an und abschalten zu können alles ok Apricale, Strand Americano in Finale Ligure (super freundlicher Service, Preis Leistung optimal) immer wieder gerne mit Blumen Riviera
